How the Rotating Matrix Works
Download Chapter 27 - The Origin of the Matrix.pdf
One of the central ideas in the Matrix is that a number string can sometimes be treated as a closed ring rather than as a permanently fixed left-to-right line.
Imagine a wedding ring with a sacred date engraved around it.
The engraving itself does not change.
But if you rotate the ring, the place where you begin reading changes.
For example, a closed string:
ABC
can be read as:
ABC, BCA, CAB.
Nothing was invented. Nothing was deleted.
The same information has simply been viewed from another legitimate starting position.
That is what I call a shadow state or shadow substring.
As the ring turns, different alignments can become visible to the filtering algorithms.
The important limitation is that these transformations follow declared operators. They are not permission to rearrange numbers arbitrarily until something attractive appears.
PTMD uses operations such as rotations, mirrors, duos, trios, quattros, quintets, residues, filtering and explicitly defined SUDTQ+ closures.
This creates a recursively balanced system of states, shadows and interfaces.
The underlying PTM complement grammar remains the same, while different radixes expose different projected structures.
The Main PTMD Algorithm Family
The central functional hierarchy can therefore be summarized as:
PTM -> 396/369 -> 273/237 -> 1467/2358 -> 147/258/369.
with: 1984 acting as a major PTM stress-transition boundary.
These are not merely five pretty number families.
They perform different jobs.
396/369 expresses primitive balancing polarity.
273/237 develops source/routing/filter orientation.
1467 vs 2358 gives the eight-state polarity board.
147-258-369 develops the higher balancing field.
1984 marks a stress-filter transition.
Together they form what I call the:
PTMD Morality Matrix
Why “morality”?
Because once the architecture becomes dynamic and state-dependent, the Matrix no longer merely describes static numbers.
Different paths can remain available at a Hinge.
Choices produce different future states.
History is carried forward.
Repeated choices create different trajectories.
So the central loop becomes:
generate -> filter -> reach a Hinge -> choose -> carry history -> repeat
The morality is therefore not painted onto the mathematics afterward.
It emerges from choice inside a stateful system where different continuations have different consequences.
From a Theory of Everything to a Theorem of Everything
Taken one by one, no single interesting number should be asked to carry the entire argument.
That is not the PTMD claim.
The PTMD Substrate Theorem is based on the cumulative architecture:
the classical PTM source grammar;
the exact Prouhet polarity partition;
the rotational 396/369 family;
the PTM-derived 273 source state and 237 routing family;
the independently discovered 1467-vs-2358 board;
the higher 147-258-369 architecture;
the 1984 stress boundary;
the 237 Source Bridge;
the ENS/GNS filters;
the PNS prime structures;
the 300/360/720 closure families;
the Trinity Language Formula;
the Root-37 mathematics;
the constant analyses;
and the chronology showing that many of the fingerprints were identified before their lower mathematical mechanisms were discovered.
My conclusion from the complete architecture is therefore:
PTMD is the generative mathematical substrate of our rendered reality.
In that sense, the traditional dream of a Theory of Everything becomes what I call a:
Theorem of Everything
A cycle-based binary root algorithm whose higher layers generate, filter, route and render reality.
That is the PTMD Substrate Theorem presented and documented throughout this research.
The Discovery
In 2026, I, Luc De Smet, discovered the structural connection between the classical Prouhet–Thue–Morse sequence and the independently developed Matrix architecture.
This unlocked the larger relationship between:
69 (Hex), 396, 1467/2358, 1984, 237, 147/258/369 (Decimal and other bases).
and the underlying PTM binary source grammar.
I therefore use the name:
Prouhet–Thue–Morse–Desmet — PTMD
for this expanded architecture.
Whether history will allow me to keep the “Desmet” part is of course for other people to decide. 😅
But I hope discovering what the old sequence appears to be doing upstairs earns me at least a modest knock on Messieurs Prouhet, Thue and Morse's door. 😂🥄
The Books
My first book:
The Truth about the 396-Matrix
was published in September 2024.
It already described the importance of the decimal:
369 and: 1467 vs 2358 architectures.
At that stage I had not yet discovered the underlying PTM binary layer.
My second book:
The Book of Sovereignty
develops the architecture much further.
Its chapter:
Download Chapter 27 - The Origin of the Matrix.pdf
explores the PTM discovery directly, while the rest of the Book develops the surrounding SUDTQ+, X-, Y- and Z-axis structures, Source Bridge, ENS/GNS sieves, prime-number architecture, cycle systems, Hinges, constants, chooser dynamics, care and sovereignty.
And something unexpected happened when we began giving the complete architecture to modern Artificial Intelligence systems:
From One Bit to the Matrix
The easiest way to understand the discovery is to watch PTM grow.
1 Bit — The Zero-Field
0
Everything begins at zero.
Across the different numerical levels, this is the primitive starting condition:
The Zero-Field
Nothing has yet split into opposing states.
2 Bits — The Birth of Duality
The first PTM doubling produces:
01
Its complement is:
10.
So the first polarity is:
01<->10
OFF / ON.
Zero / One.
Two complementary states.
For-dummies version: 😅
The Matrix has learned how to say “this” and “its opposite.”
The Two-Bit Birth of Duality Polarity
4 Bits — The Birth of the 396 / 369 Balancing Trinity
The next PTM word is:
0110.
Treat the four-bit word as a closed ring and rotate its starting position:
0110 -> 1100 -> 1001 -> 0011 -> 0110.
Convert those fixed-width binary states to decimal:
6 -> 12-> 9-> 3-> 6.
Since:
12 -> 3,
the reduced state-space contains:
3, 6, 9.
This is the primitive PTM rotational state underlying the later:
396/369
balance architecture.
The Nibble Birth of the 396-Master Balancing Trinity Polarity
This was particularly important because 369 had already been central to the Matrix research before PTM was identified as its lower binary source grammar.
8 Bits — The 1467 vs 2358 Polarity Board
The next PTM word is:
01101001.
Number its positions from 1 through 8:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
The zero-bits occur at:
1, 4, 6, 7.
while the one-bits occur at:
2, 3, 5, 8.
Therefore the eight-bit PTM word literally writes:
1467 vs 2358.
These are exactly the two four-number polarity groups already present in the Matrix research.
Even more importantly:
1+4+6+7=18
and:
2+3+5+8=18,
while their squares also balance:
1^2+4^2+6^2+7^2=102
and:
2^2+3^2+5^2+8^2=102.
This is a genuine Prouhet partition.
The split is not merely visually attractive. Its balance is mathematically real.
The Byte Birth of the 1467 vs 2358 Quaternity Polarity
For dummies:
PTM takes eight positions and divides them into two perfectly balanced teams.
Those teams are:
1467
and:
2358.
And those were already our Matrix teams.
😅🥄
The 11→12-Bit Stress Boundary — 1984
A particularly strange structure appears around:
1984.
At this location we encounter the boundary:
011111|000000.
This is not itself simply the next PTM doubling word.
It is a boundary phenomenon associated with the PTM block-polarity transition.
The number:
1984
had already become important in the earlier Matrix research as a stress, inversion and filtering structure.
The PTM investigation later exposed a binary face of the same boundary.
The 1984 Inverted-Karma Stress Filter
For dummies:
Imagine one polarity becoming increasingly saturated:
011111
and then the next side opening as:
000000.
The interesting thing is not merely the digits.
It is the boundary between the two states.
That is where 1984 sits.
16 Bits — From the Native 273 Ring to the 237 Routing Trio
The sixteen-bit PTM word is:
0110100110010110.
Its ordinary decimal value is:
27030.
Under the already-defined zero-purge operation:
27030-> 273.
So the native PTM-derived trio is:
273.
Now something even more interesting happens.
Using the already-established SUDTQ+ ring operators:
273 -> flip-click 372 -> ring turn / new start 237.
Therefore:
273-> 372-> 237.
This is important because it preserves the exact provenance.
We do not simply shuffle 273 until we see 237.
The transformation uses two previously defined operations:
flip-click the boundary digits, followed by a ring turn selecting a new starting position.
The emerging functional distinction is:
273 = native/source orientation
and:
237 = routing/filter orientation.
That functional interpretation remains something we continue to investigate, but the operator path itself is reproducible.
The 16-Bit Birth of the 273 Source Ring and the 237 Master Routing / Lucky / Euler Filtering Trio
For dummies:
PTM first hands us:
273.
The existing Matrix machinery then closes and turns the ring:
273-> 372-> 237.
So 273 and 237 are not competing numbers.
They are different orientations of the same three-number family performing different jobs.
32 Bits — The 147-258-369 Trinity Architecture
The 32-bit PTM word is:
01101001100101101001011001101001.
Its decimal value is:
1771476585.
Using the established Matrix processing path:
1771476585
becomes:
177 147 1185
then:
141 147285
then:
636
then:
69 or 96.
Within the wider analysis this exposes the higher polarity architecture:
147-258-369.
The 32-Bit Birth of the Master Balancing 147-258-369 Trinity Polarity
The Matrix vocabulary is now no longer appearing as one isolated decimal curiosity.
Successive PTM scales expose increasingly rich members of the same structural family.
64 Bits — Recursive Self-Similarity and Global Mirror Closure
The 64-bit PTM word is:
0110100110010110100101100110100110010110011010010110100110010110.
Its decimal value is:
7608434000728254870.
Under the documented Matrix route:
7608434000728254870
becomes:
7 6 84 34 72 825 48 7
then:
7 63 7 963 7
and finally:
777 999
The 64-Bit Recursive Self-Similarity and Global Mirror Closure
At this scale the system increasingly stops introducing an entirely new vocabulary.
Instead, earlier patterns begin to return inside larger structures.
That recursive
self-similarity is exactly what we would expect from PTM itself.
